While we’re talking about apocalypses today I thought I’d share this one-sheet that Warner Bros. has just released. “I Am Legend” , which stars Will Smith, Alice Braga, Salli Richardson-Whitfield, Willow Smith and Charlie Tahan. Directed by Francis Lawrence, the film hits theaters everywhere on December 14th, 2007.
Horror fans will recognize this story from Richard Matheson’s novel of the same name. The novel was consequently made into the classic Vincent Price movie “The Last Man on Earth” in 1964 and remade into the Charleton Heston movie “The Omega Man” in 1977. Both very cool films that I hope the Will Smith film can live up to. It didn’t end well for either Price’s character or Heston’s so I wonder if the same will be done to Smith.
