Arizona Make and Take

Here’s a quickie post from the Halloween-L list on a make and take from the Arizona Haunt Group. A make and take, in case yinz don’t know, is a bunch of haunters getting together to build multiple props in a semi-party atmosphere. Sometimes it’s something simple like a corpsed skull, other times it may be a complex pneumatic that involves welding. It’s done to keep the costs down for supplies and generally no profit is made by the host.

Attention Zonies! The AZ Halloween & Special Effects Association is hosting it’s first Make & Take! We’re going to be making Blinky Bugs & Fire Flies!

When: May 31 2008
Where: Gilbert, AZ - Exact Address to be distributed later
Time: 5:30pm to Dark-ish
Cost: very minimal, but TBD

Anyone can attend! This is our first Make & Take as a group, and will
also be discussing some upcoming events for this next year. This is
going to be a very exciting year for us as a group, with some HUGE
plans in the works! Come and join us, meet/greet everyone, and get
