Sick of SPAM? Get Halloween and Horror News Instead!
You know how it is. You order one case of inflatable sheep and before you can say “bestiality” you’re on all the mailing lists.
OK folks, are you as sick as I am over finding nothing cool in your email and instead find your inbox filled with SPAM letting you know just how inadequate you are in the bedroom or offers for knock-off Rolex watches and bootlegged software? Well here’s how to get something good in your email. Simply subscribe to one or more of the many, many Halloween and horror news sources out there.
Below I’ve provided some email subscription forms through Feedburner for some of the sites I subscribe to. Now some of these sites have their own email subscriptions and I do recommend getting the official emails directly from the sites that offer this. With this in mind I’ve provided a link to each site directly for you to go and find it on your own; however, some only provide a feed link on their site which can be used to get their latest post in a news reader.
Personally, I just don’t bring up a news reader on a daily basis, but I do obsessively check my email so I’ve taken those feeds from the sites below and set them up for you to subscribe to them too. Obviously I’ve put my own on the top of the list - duh! But . . . I do also recommend at least Haunt Project for all the latest how-to information for Halloween projects and the blog for Pumpkinrot, which has tons of posts with lots of interesting Halloween photos from around the web.
