Audio Zombie Sound

Last Saturday night was V.I.P. night at the Dark Works 2008 haunt – that would be Steve Hickman’s home haunt which can be seen at www.TerrorSyndicate.com. I snapped a few photos outside the haunt and a couple of short videos which you can see below. I didn’t get anything inside even though we got to go through with the lights on afterwards. Steve funds the haunt with the sales of prop making books and videos so out of respect for his business I didn’t even ask. I’m sure he’ll have photos of everything up on his site soon, and his show is better than ever this year. While we were there Steve said since this was his tenth year he was going to put out a 10 year compilation video this winter with footage of all his previous haunts. I’ll post info about that when I get it.

Ya know, I just want to put out a big thank you to the Hickman’s for letting us into their haunt and their home. Free food and a free haunt – it doesn’t get any better than that. In the Halloween haunted house business there are a copious amount of arrogant and secretive people, and I must say that Steve is neither of those. Yes, he sells books and videos, but despite that he is always willing to answer questions and show other haunters his stuff. Kudos to the master and here’s to another ten years of Dark Works.

Here’s a prop built by Steve’s son – gotta start them early.

A pumpkin lighting the way to the food!
